So, it's all over and wrapped up now? Scientists in high places are telling us that we now know everything about SARS and what caused it, and now it's time to close the book, obediently nod our heads in agreement with calls for new sweeping powers for elite international agencies, and get ready to roll up our sleeves for the promised vaccine? Everything's all better now, right?

Not so fast... contrary to reports, the skeptical questions that have been raised for months have still not been answered!

As icing on the SARS cake, an “international team” of scientists has stated that the coronavirus is, in fact, the cause of this “new disease.” Their results are published in Lancet. Once again, science is not involved.

There is no more effective way to cement a Big Lie in place than by making it feel good... as tensions and bad feelings mount over the Bush administration's "Weaponsgate", many people must surely be yearning for something to feel good about, something to make us believe that we're all coming together for a good cause. And so, a massive "benefit concert" for SARS is just around the corner, coming on the heels of prior propaganda which portrayed the handling of SARS by agencies like the WHO and CDC as examples of "multilateral" global institutions that are "on our side", held up as "good guys" in simplistic contrast to the "unilateralist" bad guys who bring war and imperialism. But how many amongst the general public understand that these two different faces of government are so closely connected behind the scenes? Some people call this sort of thing as social control by dialectic. The following offers some insights on the foul pill being hidden within the sugar coating:

This is certainly a valid argument regardless of the etiology of SARS!
